Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year experience working with persons with disabilities as residential counselor or 6 months of experience at administrative/supervisory level. OR;
  • 2 years of administrative experience in DDA with proven track of supervisory and administrative skills.
  • Valid Maryland driver’s license and pass criminal back ground check.

Job Focus:

The Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of 6-8 residential homes: assures optimal quality of care to each individual served, management of direct care staff, monitors and implements individual plans of all individuals, assures medical and clinical services for all individuals are completed and implemented, maintains records according to standards, assists individuals with finances, activities, and quality of life decisions while working in a team setting.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Assure overall quality of care to individuals; maintain superior quality in homes in the areas of operations, medical and clinical needs of individuals, and IP.
  • Visit homes daily to report quality assurance issues on operations, medical and clinical related matters, incidents concerning individuals, staffing issues and training, and IP related matters.
  • Manage House Managers, Direct Care Lead and Support Staff in Residential homes.
  • Work with the Quality Assurance team in resolving issues related to areas of significance including operations, medications, vehicles, staffing and training, and IP.
  • Checks medications, MAR, PMOF of all individuals daily to assure proper medication administration by the staff.
  • Assure safe and healthy residential environment for all individuals served by CSC by monitoring the work of all support staff: Monitor the work of all Direct Care staff to assure cleanliness and orderliness of ALU's and individual rooms. Assure the homes are furnished and decorated as per company and state standards. Assure all repairs and maintenance works are completed in a timely manner. Assure individualized fire drills, disaster drills are conducted and documented and fire extinguisher tags are updated in every home on a monthly basis.

  • Be available by business cell phone at all times to be able to attend to emergencies.
