Position Overview:

The ECAD Design Services Division is seeking an ECAD Administrative Specialist to join our team in Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems organization. The Specialist will primarily work with and support ECAD (Electronic Computer-Aided Design) which is software that is primarily used to design and create electronic systems such as printed circuit boards. The role is located in Baltimore but is a hybrid onsite / work-from-home position. Duties and responsibilities include:

Liaison for new Mentor Graphics/Team Center process:

  • Prepare and package Mentor Xpedition databases for design work in the Team Center environment
  • Assist ECAD Tool Support and Team Center support teams
  • Support Design Services Drafters


ECAD Revision processing:

  • Search for and retrieve copies of archived Mentor databases
  • Prepare packages for Drafting assignment
  • Assign RNs (Revision Notices) as directed by management
  • Document tasks in the RN Log (Oracle Tool)
  • Utilize the ECAD RN Folder system
  • Maintain archiving of Mentor Databases


Process Invoices form Outside ECAD Vendors:

  • Work closely with ECAD manager on Outsourced ECAD Tasks
  • Interface with outside ECAD Vendors
  • Work closely with Accounts Payable Team (AP)
  • Obtain and maintains an SAP account to process invoices as they come in for payment
  • Manage folder system for ECAD manager


Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 2+ years' experience, and/or professional relevant experience
  • Ability to follow detailed process instructions
  • General knowledge of PC basic functionality
  • Ability with manipulating files and folders
  • Computer skills required include advanced expertise in Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance after hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AA degree
  • Experience with Technical PC support
  • Experience with databases
  • Experience/exposure to ECAD Toolsets


Salary Range: $40,400 USD - $67,800 USD


Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
