EXAMPLES OF DUTIES Under general supervision, manage the operations of a Police Athletic League Recreation Center. Supervises the educational and recreational programming for at-risk youth in a Police Athletic League Recreation Center; screens, evaluates, and monitors clients, and makes referrals to other agencies or professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in recreation and parks, social or behavioral science, public administration, or education. Experience as described in Examples of Essential Duties may be substituted on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two years for the required education. Licenses and Certificate Possession of a valid driver's license equivalent to a noncommercial, class C Maryland's driver's license is required at the time of appointment. Proof of Licenses, Certifications and Education Applicants are required to submit proof of education beyond high school to meet the required and preferred qualifications of the position. Diplomas or transcript must show the applicant's major field of study. Copies and unofficial transcripts are acceptable.
