THIS IS A NON-CIVIL SERVICE POSITION
SALARY: $15.00 (Hourly)

The Bureau of Revenue Collections is currently recruiting for the position of Community Aide to provide general office support, quality customer service (in person, via email and over the phone), and problem-solving skills by utilizing the various systems and resources to resolve customer inquiries. The Bureau of Revenue Collections is seeking individuals who are hardworking, problem solvers and customer service focused. We are looking for Community Aides to fill these roles.

This is a non-benefited, temporary position. Position required pre-employment screening such as drug/alcohol screening and background investigation. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek. Work is performed in an office setting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A strong work ethic and proactive critical thinking skills
  • Ability to deal courteously with employees at all levels of government, and to work effectively with varying temperament, both in person and by telephone.
  • Effective communication, mathematical and computer skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow simple written and oral instructions.
  • Detail oriented

Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a GED.
AND
  • One year of office or customer service experience.
