Dispatch and Routing Specialist
HWC Transportation provides elite transit for patients participating in rehabilitation services in the northeast sector of Baltimore County. We serve a variety of communities including:
- Dundalk
- Essex
- Middle River
- Parkville
- Perry Hall
Our team strives to maintain a safe, clean, patient-centered experience during travel. HWC is looking for a dedicated, organized professional with exceptional communication skills to join our team.
The Position
The Dispatch and Routing Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the company manifest daily. The D&R Specialist’s job involves a variety of soft skills including but not limited to the following:
- Accuracy
- Precision
- Critical Thinking
- Effective Communication
- Time Management
The Location
HWC Transportation’s headquarters is conveniently located on Pulaski Highway in the Northeast sector of Baltimore County.
Position Logistics
- 16-20 hours per week
- Weekly Stipend
- 6:00pm-10:00pm shift
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain data entry for driver routes with accuracy and precision
- Synchronize driver schedules with route schedules
- Adjust driver schedules as applicable
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with dispatching software
- Experience working in an office setting
- Basic computer operating skills
