Department: | The Office of Center Administration and Management (OCAM) OCAM serves as a centralized shared resource to support four of UMBC's Research Centers, including the Center for Urban Environmental Research and Education (CUERE), Center for Accelerated Real-Time Analytics (CARTA), Center for Real-time Distributed Sensing and Autonomy (CARDS) and Center for Advanced Sensor Technology (CAST). OCAM supports these Centers with administrative pre and post-award support for their externally and internally funded projects. |

Responsibilities: | The Business Services Specialist in the Office of Center Administration and Management (OCAM) will be responsible for reconciling, reporting and managing activities related to grants and contracts. The position will be responsible for the Center's research funding administration.

Required Minimum Qualifications: |
Note: Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: | Experience in a University setting is helpful. Knowledge of PeopleSoft, PAW Procurement system and Microsoft Office suite is essential. Grant management, accounting, finance and/or Human Resources experience is beneficial. |
