PRP Coordinator: Full Time
Salary Range $37,000 - $40,000
Locations Available: Baltimore City/County and Anne Arundel County
Empowering Minds Resource Center psychiatric rehabilitation program is seeking qualified full-time Direct Service Coordinators to provide supportive services to individuals with mental health illnesses. The DSC Coordinator will have a caseload of approximately thirty clients and will provide services in the office. Responsibilities include conducting intake assessments on clients and assisting clients with working on their individualized rehabilitation plan goals in the following areas:
*Self-care skills--hygiene, nutrition, self-administration and compliance with medication.
*Social skills--community integration activities, interactive skills with peers and authority figures, developing natural supports, and supporting the child's participation in community activities.
*Independent living skills--maintenance of personal living space, community awareness, mobility skills, money management, and accessing available entitlements.
*Mental health compliance and medication monitoring/education.
*Emotional self-management--conflict resolution, anger management, time management, maintaining age-appropriate boundaries.
*Promotion of illness self-management--education and information about mental illness, effective strategies to assist in managing illness, warning signs of relapse, helpful interventions.
*Education and employment support
The DSC Coordinator is responsible for rendering supportive services to all individuals in their assigned case load, maintaining the program services in a professional, orderly, stable and safe manner while implementing, documenting, and collecting data for individual behavioral and rehabilitation plans. All services delivered and data collected must be documented in the appropriate forms provided by EMRC.
- Bachelor's degree in a human services area and a minimum two years’ experience working in the mental health field and/or alcohol and drug treatment field is required.

Pay: $37,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
