Position Overview and Qualifications:

Helion is actively recruiting for a new Team Member in Accounting as a Business Office Generalist in Baltimore, MD. The Business Office Generalist is responsible for entering and maintaining customer-owned asset data in software packages for use by various Helion departments. This individual tracks the status of all ordered equipment for each of our clients. This team member will have responsibility for the monthly subscription invoicing as well as assist with other monthly invoicing and learn Purchasing functions to act as Purchasing Coordinator during high volume times and to serve as a backup.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collects, documents, and builds data input sheets of items sold to customers.
  • Coordinates and maintains warranty expiration dates for customers with multiple assets.
  • Removes assets that are no longer active from software packages to keep records current.
  • Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered.
  • Resolves shipment errors with vendors.
  • Authorizes payment for purchases with clients.
  • Builds and develops relationships with key vendors and clients.
  • Informs Helion staff and vendors of procedural requirements to facilitate the purchasing process.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to Manage Financial Resources across various vendors and clients
  • Ability to navigate Autotask or other ticketing system
  • QuickBooks Management
  • Tracks and collects Client Payments
  • Receive items on open POs and closes out POs once complete
  • Utilizes various reports to manage different job responsibilities
  • Ability to manage Vendor Relationships
  • Understands various warranties and exchange procedures
  • Understands Cisco Smartnet service and can articulate that to clients
  • Keeps open lines of communication between Helion teams and external vendors

Education and Certifications:

  • 2+ years in a General Office Support or role with similar administrative duties
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $27.00 per hour

This will be a work-from-home position but must be able to come into the office when needed.
