Maryland New Directions (MND) is HIRING a Service Team Manager!

 


Full-time, non-exempt 

Reports to: Program Director 

Job Summary: 

Provide supervision to job coaches and support training staff to ensure the effective provision of job training and employment services to MND clients. This role will assist coaches to focus on the achievement of service goals and outcomes, as well as assisting with data entry to ensure proper and accurate reporting of activities and client outcomes. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position will provide direct supervision to coaches and support trainers in their daily training/service activities to ensure smooth operations and quality services.  

Support Program Director and work with the Data & Report team through monitoring coaches’ service quality, as well as timely data entry and reporting to ensure grant compliance. The scope of this work includes, but is not limited to: 

  • Supervise and lead the job coach team 
  • Monitor and ensure quality training and service provision including class management and intervention 
  • Work closely with the Outreach Team to maximize the enrollment of potential clients 
  • Properly assign workload to coaches to ensure quality services 
  • Coordinate training schedule with trainers 
  • Connect with internal or external supportive services to eliminate employment barriers 
  • Collaborate with the Grant Management Director on compliance to ensure a high standard of overall service outcomes and individual grant goals 
  • Ensure coaches maintain accurate and timely data reporting to MND’s CMS portal 
  • Providing training support to newly hired coaches 
  • Lead direct service meetings, and attend funder and staff meetings as required 
  • Other duties as assigned Key Result Areas 
  • Retain and grow MND’s coaching team 
  • Work with trainers to reach excellent training quality and effective daily service provision 
  • Supervise coaches to ensure timely and accurate data entry Qualifications 
Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience work with disadvantaged populations that MND serves 

2. Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience leading a team of at least 3 members 

3. Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience in human services fields 

4. Effective oral and written communication 

5. Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
